This is the main attraction at Caesarea. Very nice theatre with views of the sea. If you are seeing the archeological site you must see the theatre.

Though its an ancient site, but it still beautiful to visit; Nice set location along the Caesarea; Spectacular Sea View;
Must visit this site when you are coming to Israel; Restaurants not too far from the Theatre

As a tour guide, I bring tourists here all the time. Built by Herod the Great, the Roman amphitheater still is in use for cultural events. It is a wonderful reminder of what was built 2000 years ago and how great they were then. Don't miss this site.

There are so many of these Roman theaters but I will never get tired of them. This one at Caesarea is very intact and even though alot of it was renovated and numbered because it is an active arena for shows and performances.

it is enchanting walking from one end of this ancient city to another. guided tour helps understand the intricacies. the natural stone harbour and old palace is lovely to see, as is the hippodrome and ancient theatre which is still in current use for performances. the entire area is very well maintained
