This area has it all: rich culture, incredible landscape and beautiful people. A visit to the hot springs, especially on a Sunday afternoon, is a must. We met such generous warm people in this region. Thank you Ngada.

One of the most fascinating areas of Flores, brimming with unique culture and architecture, hot springs, beaches and impressive volcanoes.

The area is really nice. Rent a scooter to explore mountains and small old traditional villages. Buy some organic coffee and handcrafts. Just enjoy!

I spent two month backpacking around Indonesia and getting to know Ngada culture and villages was one of the highlights!!!
I was filming in a remote Belaraghi village and was lucky to interview the chief of the village and some of the locals. This place is a gem!

Trekking is awesome too, beautiful authentic views!

Also, I never ever take guides unless its really necessary, but I really recommend checking out the Tourist and Information Center in Bajawa and meet William. If you really don't wanna go w a guide, at least you will get to know the best people in town and hang out and sing some reggae and have a great time:)
