Breathtaking view, especially during sunset. Lovely! But the food was not so nice. I would give it 4/10.

Thank Nadia B

Stop once will make you addicted to come back at another time. Malalayang Beach, Manado is a beach which has a complete combination with a unique Manado Bay, presents a potent herb treats like panoramic beaches, prescription freshness, effect reconcile souls, and peace of heart.
It's location is in District Malalayang, Village Malalayang II is very easy to reach. From the direction of Sam Ratulangi Airport can be reached by landline, takes about 30 minutes if no stuck in traffic.
you can enjoy looking at the food dish sea shades in some shack small cafe, coffee shops and food typical of Manado, as if to add a distinctive taste Manado. For example, you can order a cup of coffee for 7 thousand rupiah and goroho bananas for 1 thousand rupiah a piece also extra sambal roa in a separate bowl and pulp tinutuan worth 15 thousand rupiah.
Not cheap enough?
Malalayang Beach is the only tourist attraction near the sea most of the territory of the city of Manado, so this place is often flooded by visitors coming into the city and outside the city of Manado.

We went here two nights in a row for dinner. I shared a portion of tinutuan (manadonese porridge) with my cousin so that we still have room for the famous fried bananas.

Here there are two types of fried banana, the regular fried banana (rather sweet), cut into a fan shape or the other one called pisang goreng goroho (goroho banana fries) that is cut looking like french fries. These kind of banana fries are so crunchy and yummy. Actually we love both kinds, especially eaten with the roa sambal (roa is a kind of small fished, usually smoked).

We all got addicted and nearly everyday bought some. I even bought some of both kinds cooked half done to bring back home so I can put them in the freezer and cook it further when we want to eat them. YUM!!!!

The only regret I have is that I didn't buy enough to bring back home. I should have bought 1 indomie box filled with half cooked fried bananas like what our friend had done hahahaha.

Oh and we can eat by the shore overlooking the manado city lights as well as some stars when the sky is clear. Not bad at all I would say.
