We came for Dinner after struggling in Manado traffic, we just realized that this city getting so much busy in the street than some years a go. So we are enter also in very crowded and maybe most popular grilled fish in this city. We order some fish and cuttlefish and crabs all grilled and served with their special sambal (chilli with lemon water and turmeric) the taste is so good actually but due too crowded and over worked staff , all the dish came to our table mostly cold already, so not so nice actually while some dish like crab in butter sauce is already too oily to eat :(
The very good thing here is the live music, brings you from past to present music with saxophone. The price is ok, sea food strangely bit pricey here in a city with wonderful sea shore and diving paradise.

Second time for us in this restaurant and we will certainly come back before we leave. Last year opened and the quality is just as good!
The fish and squid is perfectly grilled and the dabu dabu ( sauce) delicious although a bit too spicy for me. But for Manado people it should be this spicy:)
I love the accompanying kankung and lovely view over the sea and Manado Tua!

seafood restaurant can easily find in manado, but what makes "dabu-dabu lemong" have good of its location. just in front of the beach. you can see and smell the athmosphere of the ocean while enjoy your meal. for me, the fish is just typical of any other seafood dishes. but the chilli sauce (sambal, or dabu-dabu in local language) is superb... dont came here for lunch because it is only open at night.

well.. i think the fish dishes is just similar with other seafood restaurant. what make this place special is the "sambal" or spicy sauce, and the location.

This is probably the best place to eat for seafood. First, you pick your seat and then head over to the grill to pick your seafood. We had squid cooked in squid ink (local style) Rp 100,000, we had red goropa (karapu in common Bahasa Indonesia), Rp 200,000- soooo Super delicious, I was amazed at how fresh and tender the fish was and finally the tindaro belly (not tuna, it's a white fish)- Rp 30,000- which was not bad but nothing compared to the red goropa.

I would highly recommend anyone to come and have a non pretentious grilled seafood meal here. Plus, their fried Chili (Rica Bakar) is to die for!
