This is a large and hardly decorated restaurant. Simple, traditional food with local specialties. I had the Nasi Gudeg Istimewa, and that was very good. In fact I liked the Gudeg and the Krecek better that in some of the famous Gudeg restaurants in Yogyakarta. The juices are good and we didn't get sick from the ice cubes. Special compliments for the fact that they have an English menu.

Thank Herman S

This place was the highlight of our trip, the menu variety is excellent you can get almost everything you want from a Solo culinary here, from 3 days trip we came here at least 3times. From nasi liwet, nasi langgi, timlo, selat solo, gudeg to bakso babat. The place is in central, spacious with fan pretty good for Solo heat, I don't give 5stars because they allow smokers to smoke in the same area around children, very tipical Indonesian resto #sigh. But food quality and taste is amazing.

Recommended menu :

Gudeg

Gudeg is made from young unripe jack fruit(Javanese: gori, Indonesian: nangka muda) boiled for several hours with palm sugar, andcoconut milk. Additional spices include garlic, shallot, candlenut, coriander seed, galangal, bay leaves, and teak leaves, the latter giving a reddish-brown color to the dish.

Javanesse Fried Chicken.. so crunchy and swet.. againt !

And drink.. u can try Beras Kencur with ice.. so fresh..
