Solo, which has the official name of Surakarta, is located in Central Java, Indonesia. I found lots of interesting parts in this City. Solo culture can not be separated from its various delicious foods. One of the dishes you should try is Timlo.
Its a famous soup in Solo. Timlo seasoned of chicken meat chopped into pieces, cooked egg and chicken’s liver in clear soup. Its served to accompany fried onion topping rice. Its served without thin noodles. This savoury dish is served best hot and suitable for either breakfast or lunch.
Last week I have a breakfast at Warung Makan Timlo Sasro, a traditional Javanese restaurant in Solo located nearby Pasar Gede which is the biggest traditional market in Solo. Founded in 1952, Timlo Sastro is famous food stall which served Timlo. In this food stall the waiters still use a board pad and chalk to count the price.
I chose Timlo Komplit menu. This menu contains chicken liver, eggs and sosis Solo with hot clear chicken soup. For the drink I chose nasgitel tea, this a legendary tea from Solo. Its so Yummy!
