“Beautiful Seting”
Reviewed 27 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

What you see is what you get - stayed in one bedroom villa beautifully set in small compound with one other villa and share pool. Bit unsure how breakfast worked as probably first non resort type stay so pleasantly surprised when served on our wonderful deck area. Staff were awesome and helpful but near invisible unless you needed. 10mins walk to Monkey Forest Road and great restaurants so great location. Other villa was occupied by couple with one child but seriously wouldn't have known they were there, yes you hear roosters in the morning but hey if that is the worst thing of the stay the stay is pretty magic!

“Very nice, however”

We arranged with Rumah Tyang to be picked up from our hotel in Seminyak and transferred to Ubud, but they did not show up. So, we took a taxi, which they agreed to pay for. Had trouble finding the place, as there is no sign, however it is at the rear of their other business: Warung Tyang.
We stayed in a 1-bedroom villa; you share the compound with garden and very nice pool with another identical villa. This is not so well-described on their website which talks only of the family villa. Nevertheless, it is very nice, and as the other villa was unoccupied, we had privacy and comfort throughout our stay. The structure looks quite new, the electrical wiring looks compliant, the appliances all worked, the WiFi was very good.
Breakfast was cooked for us in the kitchen within the compound, but we asked to have Indonesian food on 2 mornings, having tired of the usual western-style eggs and whatever. The surprise was they charged an additional 70,000IR each day for this. Also got charged 100,000 for petrol after a short ride out to the Bird Park.... So much for the "free" car and driver.
But these are minor quibbles, and should we return to Ubud, we'd probably stay here.

“Lovely Villa In Ubud”

We have just had 6 nights in this lovely villa in Ubud. The villa is very comfortable for 2 or 3 couples with a lovely private pool. It was a15 minute walk into the Palace in the centre of town but Norman, the driver was very helpful, especially in driving one of our group with mobility issues. Norman also took us on some great trips into the countryside and found interesting restaurants for us to try.
We would certainly stay her again if visiting Ubud.

“Fantastic”

Having had many holidays to Bali, staying Legion ,Nusa and Kuta, have only visted Ubud for usual day trips. Decided to book the Villa with friends (2 couples) for 5 nights.

What a delight. Firstly Mr Nyoman, was there to pick us up from Bali airport.

Villa is behind Mr Nyoman place, so he always at hand to offer any assistance or a lift to town. He supplies you with a mobile and you can call or txt him anytime. But once the outside door to enter the villa is closed they always respect your privacy.

Villa has 3 bedrooms, main bedroom has large king bed, a bathroom and also outside bath under its own bali hut, second bedroom has large king bed, and large bathroom, third bed has twin beds that also have pull out mattress underneath for kids, with own bathroom. Lounge had DVD,TV, dinning room table, fully fitted kitchen contains, usual stuff needed to cook. Best part is large pool with sunbeds and outside chair set. Free WiFi Villa wide.

Villa is 10 min walk from the centre of Ubud, but is on a slope, downhill to Ubud, uphill back, just something to know, but no problem as Nyoman would come and get us.

To sum up, we loved it and we loved Ubud too and far more there, than we ever see on a day trip from Kuta.
