Location is very good.
Room is quite spacious.
But room is a little bit smelly, apek, due to long time no use.
Overall is quite OK.
But another thing, I think the hotel rate is quite expensive, not value for money.
The No. 1 selling point is location.
Other then that, I just feel that it is so-so, not so special.

Nothing but good things to say for the Alaya. Very nice rooms. Spacious and luxurious. Good location, walking distance from the centre of Ubud. Great service. And good value for what it’s offering. I would highly recommend it!! Will visit again.
It was a good experince. The hotel were nice, but our room was bit far from the front office. Room facilities were great. Loving room bath tub. Terrace was also nice and very green. All staffs were friendly andnhelpful.
You could reach several coffe shop and restaurant around here by walking.

Resort was very clean, nicely decorated; staff were friendly and attentive; service was prompt; location was peaceful, restorative, relaxing. Would like to return and stay there again.
This is our second time staying at the Alaya and it was as wonderful as always.
Not only is it 5 minutes walk from the Yoga Barn, the staff, rooms, beds (we bought the same Spring Air mattress after staying here last year) and pool area is fabulous.
My husband and I stayed 4 nights at Alaya during part of our honeymoon and it was AMAZING. The staff kindly gave us a free upgrade when they found out we were on our honeymoon! The suite was so spacious and comfy. I loved the huge bathroom, which had a big shower and a hot tub in the middle. We also had a serene balcony.
The breakfast was so delicious, you could either grab breakfast at the buffet or order a breakfast meal from a menu (surprisingly we liked this more than the buffet). So many people i know who have been to Bali complained about hotel breakfasts, but for us we looked forward to it every morning! We came late once and the staff was super nice about it and didn’t mind at all. The staff are so so accommodating, always willing to help, always smiling and asking us if we need anything.
And the location! Perfect! You walk out onto the street and you find a bustling main street with cafes, restaurants, gift shops, massage parlors and everything. You walk back into the hotel and suddenly you’re in a calm relaxing oasis.
So many small things that make this place feel so special. Upon arrival we were greeted with cold towels and drinks, every day there is afternoon tea at the lobby (free), they sent us a complimentary cake for our honeymoon, they offer a photo session (we missed ours and still regret it!), the shampoos conditioner soaps are all custom make, smell fabulous and can be purchased
