Beautiful resort with warm and welcoming staff. Spacious and comfortable room (with great decor too), great pool, just 5 mins walking distance from the Monkey Forest and 15 from the city center. Delicious and fresh breakfast buffet and free, lovely tea hour with sweet Indonesian treats in the afternoon.
The staff was very helpful and set up a driver, Joni, to take us on a half day tour to the nearby tourist attractions (we did Tirta Empul, coffee plantations, rice terraces and Tegenungan waterfall). Joni did a great job in accompanying us to our stops, showing us around and sharing lots of information on the places we visited and Balinese culture.
Would reccommend 100% and already want to go back!

The rooms are beautiful and luxurious. Spa was a lovely experience, nice staff and relaxing massage. Right in the middle of busy Ubud. Restaurant food is just average in terms of the breakfast buffet and al la carte. Pool area is ok, nothing luxurious.

I had a upper floor room with balcony, perfect for relaxing if you just want to stay in your room. Swimming pools are fine as well, very quiet place. The hotel is well located in Ubud and you have many places very close (restaurants, spa, monkey forest). Staff is super helpful and always smiling which made my stay even better.

Alaya was the cherry on top for my trip in Bali. The people are so kind and well behaved. The service was soo magical. We didn't lack anything. Was very very happy with the hotel and the staffs. Will go there every time I got to Bali now.

The rooms were spacious and clean, we had a balcony with a view over the paddy fields, so serene. The staff were excellent, they are friendly courteous and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. I would come and stay again and would thoroughly recommend the Alaya as a resort to stay at in Ubud. As well as all of that great location, minutes from the Monkey forest and across the road from shops.
