I have lived in Asia for many years but was born and raised in Texas so I have eaten my share of Mexican food over the years. Many different styles of Mexican cuisine from region to region in Mexico, to Tex-Mex, California-Mex, and many other U.S./International locations so it’s sometimes difficult to compare them all under the one heading “Mexican Food” but I’ll give it my best shot. I loved the food at this place. It has it’s own style while still keeping true to the wider category of “Mexican Food.” Their food:
Uses fresh properly seasoned ingredients which I found to be both healthy AND delicious. Is light and NOT grease, sometimes Mexican food tends to be “too heavy” but not at this restaurant. Foods is plated in an appealing and appetizing manner which shows an “extra” attention to detail. AND last but NOT least ...they make a great margarita. Many places now use a margarita mix but here they made it correctly with tequila, triple sec, and “freshly squeezed” lime juice...OK, I did have salt on the rim...so sometimes I forget to follow my own advice in my “healthy” comment above! Two thumbs up for the margarita and the food.
