Kejora is a beautiful, adults only, boutique hotel based in the centre of Sanur, only a 30 minute transfer from the airport and with easy access to the beach and local shops and restaurants. We stayed here for two nights during our recent stay.
The hotel is part of a complex which includes some privately owned villas and is beautifully designed in traditional Balinese style with some lovely art work. The hotel’s rooms are on two floors based around a central courtyard with beautiful lush gardens and a small infinity style salt water swimming pool.
Our room on the first floor overlooked the pool, was very clean, well appointed with great air con and complimentary water, well maintained and had a small outside balcony with a day bed.
All of the staff were amazing and were super friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located on the main road but once inside you are transformed into a little oasis of calm and tranquility. The hotel was running at 50% occupancy whilst we were there but it felt as though we were the only guests!
The beach is easily accessed by a 5 minute walk down a small private road from which the tastefully designed and appointed luxury private villas can be accessed. There are toilets just before the door which opens onto the sidewalk by the beach and beach towels are available from the security guard. The hotel has its own dedicated section of the beach with beds which are clearly signed as reserved for its guests and the villa owners. We were the only hotel residents using the beach on the day we were there and we were really well looked after by an engaging and very amusing security guard, Bawa, who spent time chatting to us about Sanur and Bali, helped stop the hawkers from pestering us too much and managed to source us a fruit seller that had dragon fruit!
Overall this is a great hotel, which offering a peaceful, calm and tranquil oasis, excellent levels of customer service and is a perfect location for the beach and exploring the surrounding area.More
