Stayed last week for 4 nights as a couple.

Booked a great prepaid - nonrefundable rate back in January and we were overall very happy with our choice!

- Lovely spacious rooms with comfortable beds (despite being 2 separate beds - we asked them to be joined but there was still a gap between them and with separate duvets, not very romantic). Good airco, nice amenities and a great little balcony with nice furniture. Everything finished to a high standard.

- Overal design of the hotel very nice with loads of nice, local features. A peaceful heaven behind a busy street!

- A beautiful, large refreshing pool, with enough sun beds around it. Deeper than it seems so you can still get a decent swim. Surrounded by lovely tropical plants, everything very well kept (being a keen gardener myself, I noticed this straight away). Pool towels were plentiful (they were salty though - a bit weird). It was nice to have late night swims there!

- Most staff members very friendly even though they sometimes ignored us when we didn't greet them first, not what we are used to in Asia.

- Great location with easy access to beach (they have their own shower, sun beds and security there, very convenient). High/low tides were advertised in the lobby so you could plan your beach time accordingly, very handy. Good location for restaurants/shops too. Our favorite bistro (Little Bird) was just on the other side of the street.

- Breakfast was ok, we tried The Glass House on the first morning and it was good but a bit too limited for us. After the first morning we chose to have breakfast at the Segara Village hotel which had buffet style breakfast. Choice was ok but overall also a bit disappointing (no table service for coffee etc. and the space where they serve the buffet was very depressing and definitely not in line with the rest of the hotel). It wasn't a big deal for us (after having seen amazing 5* breakfast buffets during the rest of our 17 night holiday) so I still give the hotel 5/5. It is just something you should consider when booking this hotel.

The good reviews are well deserved and we loved our stay (despite the few small things).

Definitely recommended!

Great hotel, from location, room quality and pool area. The only negative aspect was our cooked breakfast was cold but edible. We only stayed there one night so will not judge the property too harshly and will return.

We are here right now, arrived late yesterday afternoon. Nothing is too much trouble. The reviews and picks are all 100% correct. Breakfast at the Glass House was brilliant. Room cleaned early. If you ask for anything its there virtually before you put the phone down.

We will definitely be back looking forward to the rest of the seek. Location is fantastic. Room 103 signature room step out of your room and into the pool.

Room Tip: Signature room.

We arrived tired and hungry from the airport at around 9.30 at night to a lovely welcome from the staff. Just a short walk and you find the lovely rooms around the beautifully created and peaceful pool. We found the rooms clean and well presented, with the wonderful outside bathroom inclusive of statue. There was a lovely veranda to sit out at night or have a coffee through the day. The Glass House next door is where you gain a very nice breakfast. Just a short walk past the villas and you get to the small beach front where you also have your own sun loungers which is a great touch.
Once out of the hotel you are right in the middle of the bustling street of Sanur with all of the bars and shops, but step inside and this might as well be a million miles away.
I would return to this property tomorrow. Give it a try you wont be disappointed

Room Tip: Ground floor round the pool
