It is a wonderful place for people that want to relax and don'tneed more than an amzing friendly service team, wonderful houses in a beatiful park directly at the beach and that have enough time to enjoy all of this. The home made bread is amazing and the fresh food is really delicious. There is nothing to complain about and I will suggest this to a lot of people asking me for the perfect place in Bali.

What can one say about Cilik's?
That
the team is absolutely wonderful
the gardens and houses are a dream come true
the view to the ocean is a bliss for the soul
the masseur is a true "life saver"
the food is delicious and always fresh
and
the boat trips and dolphins will remain in your heart forever

But wiser perhaps to keep all this (and much more) a secret

Ciliks Beach Garden can easily compete with all the establishments in South Bali. The bungalows are true bijous, individually and tastefully constructed and furnished. Definitely recommendable. A specific highlight from the Cilik kitchen: Try the Tresse au Beure or Butterzopf. The best specialty bread in all Bali.

Finally, we want to join the chorus of all those being enchanted by Ciliks Beach Garden. With great surprise, we read the comments of vacationers staying in Villa East shortly after we'd left (stayed from July 30 to August 8, 2013). I would like to respond, since this comments give a completely wrong picture:

Yes, this is Bali and that's why you are there.
Yes, they build the villas in an open traditional style - like many Hotels in Bali - and this garantuees perfect climatization during day and night. All beds are equipped with mosquito nets, and using them properly, we never found bugs in the bed. Since we are returning "lovers" of CBG, we appreciated the exchange of the former traditional futons into very comfortable matresses. So I cannot comprehend making a point about not sleeping. There are two large beds in the main room, which should also fit tall persons.
Yes, we also had ants in the bathroom, but this is "correctly mentioned" an wonderful outdoor bathroom. I'm sure the staff would have taken care, if you'd let them know that the ants did bother you.
For logistic reasons of onward travel, we stay close to the airport in one of the super-expensive hotels on Nusa Dua: Closed doors and windows, air conditioned ice-cold and an ant street - the biting very small kind - right along the wall.
Lizards - Geckos - are completely harmless friendly animals hunting bugs (for you) and are found just everywhere. You do not want to miss them!

Mentioning the price, the captious critic forgot to mention that you rent a large, spacious villa. A huge, tastefully furnished and decorated room with two queensize beds, desk (WLAN), and an extra room for children/additional guests, which has air condition, safety box and storage; the already mentioned wonderful (enclosed) bathroom; a furnished and protected terrace and a huge garden stretching to the ocean with an own beach, an own bale. Not to mention the great cooking they do! And the staff is simply special.

All this is mentioned also on their website, including that they take only cash. So you should be prepared.

If you love camping; go there and you'll never use your own tend. If you love Hotels also visit and you always want to come back.

Room Tip: Villa East is big and rather for a family; just for two you better chose one of the other three vill...

Attentive hotel service, Western-style breakfast a la carte, selected Balinese cuisine, freshly-caught fish every day.
