My wife and I recently returned from a 10 day honeymoon to the Ritz-Bali. The resort in Bali is something magical. I spent months planning our trip, reading reviews, and trying to figure out where we would spend our most special occasion. I must say, we were both extremely impressed with the property, the people, and everything about Bali. The Ritz-Bali was a wise choice and I want to share some of our experience about our visit.
First and foremost, the pictures online don't do this resort justice. Everything from the lobby, the restaurants, the beach area, pool area, and rooms are breathtaking. Every attention to detail is covered, and staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating to each and every need. My wife and I felt a real connection to the staff and had a great time spending days by the pool and eating at the restaurants on site.
We stayed in the Ritz Carlton suite with lagoon access. The room was one of the best we have ever stayed in. Absolutely stunning. The turn down service, room service, and attention to detail made us feel right at home. The staff went out of their way to recognize our honeymoon and we felt very special during our stay in this room.
We spent our non sightseeing days by the pool. The staff at the pool is incredible. We really enjoyed interacting with Arsa, Giovanni, Juni, Dwija, Wara, and Dewa. What a pleasure getting to know the staff and hearing about the history of the area, the culture of Bali, and learning more about their friends and family. Arsa and Giovanni spent time really getting to know my wife and I. They were welcoming, polite, accommodating and extremely helpful in everything from suggesting activities and sights to see to making dinner reservations at restaurants. Both men assisted us in making dinner reservations at restaurants on site during times that had the best views of the Bali sunsets.
The check in and concierge staff was fantastic as well. We utilized the guest desk to arrange both group and private tours. Omar at the concierge was very helpful during our stay as well! I would recommend utilizing the concierge for needs during your stay. We didn't have a plan for the 10 days, and they were able to help fill the time quickly with many activities!
We utilized the restaurants each day on the property. The morning breakfast was awesome. The spread and service from the staff was very welcoming. In the afternoon and evenings, we went to the various dining spots. All of them were awesome, including the sushi restaurant at the top of the resort!
Finally, we were extremely impressed with Karim (GM) and the rest of the management team. Karim approached us on our first day at the pool and introduced himself and shared his love for his family travel and the RC brand. It was great to see him out and about on the property and engaged with the guests and his staff.
An incredible journey that we won't soon forget. "It's not goodbye, but see you soon!"
