Upon our arrival in Bali, we had not decided whether to eat suckling pig here or at Pak Malen. But since we re heading to nusa dua, we stopped and grabbed a bite here.
It was around 9.30 am, the warung is located in a quite narrow road, for 2 cars passing by only. So it was a little bit hard for us to decide where to park. There wasnt many customers, only around 5 person devided into 2 groups located in 2 outdoor tables. We ordered 2 portion of suckling pig, and it was served to us in around 5 minutes, pretty fast. Fyi, I ask for medium spiciness level.
A plate of suckling pig comes with a bowl of soup in which were a few slices of pork also.
Personally, I love the soup. And among the meats in the plate, I like satay the most. The meats were tender and tasty. It costs 40K for a portion.
As we finished our meal, a line had already formed and all the other tables were full (we re fast eaters fyi :D)
However, when I approached the counter to pay for my meal, I saw the Ibu dropped a meat into the stall while preparing a plates, and just easily put it in back to the plate. And then she paused doing that, proceed my payment, and then resume preparing the plate, all with the same hand.
While the taste was delicious, I think it would be so hard for me to decided to be a repeating customer here.
