My wife and I had a wonderful experience.
From the moment you walk through the front door to a beautiful central water lagoon and into either of the main dining or teppenyaki rooms you get that instant feeling of Calm.
We had Teppenyaki with a set menu through Luxury Escapes and we were expecting a lower standard of menu than you would normally get if paying so it we were pleasantly surprised at what we were served.
A crisp salad to start, then the Teppenyaki chef began his little show.
Grilled Vegetables first, followed by Chicken pieces, then fish, steak, miso soup, fried rice and a very delightful desert of lemongrass infused Creme brûlée and coconut ice cream
The food was of a very high standard
The chef appeared to be really enjoying himself and everyone sitting at our table - (yes Teppenyaki is a great way to enjoy a meal with strangers and strike up a conversation ) felt his happy vibe.
Don't expect the true Teppenyaki show of the Japanese masters - the kids at the table loved the theatrics of "our" chef.
