My wife and I had a wonderful experience.
From the moment you walk through the front door to a beautiful central water lagoon and into either of the main dining or teppenyaki rooms you get that instant feeling of Calm.
We had Teppenyaki with a set menu through Luxury Escapes and we were expecting a lower standard of menu than you would normally get if paying so it we were pleasantly surprised at what we were served.
A crisp salad to start, then the Teppenyaki chef began his little show.
Grilled Vegetables first, followed by Chicken pieces, then fish, steak, miso soup, fried rice and a very delightful desert of lemongrass infused Creme brûlée and coconut ice cream
The food was of a very high standard
The chef appeared to be really enjoying himself and everyone sitting at our table - (yes Teppenyaki is a great way to enjoy a meal with strangers and strike up a conversation ) felt his happy vibe.
Don't expect the true Teppenyaki show of the Japanese masters - the kids at the table loved the theatrics of "our" chef.
Would thoroughly recommend

The Nampu restaurant within the Grand Hyatt Bali is awesome! We had a fixed menu with our Luxury Escapes package, which included a starter salad, chicken, fish, beef, fried rice, and a dessert.

It has a professional sleek feel to it with classy Japanese decor. The restaurant is incredibly clean and has great service!

Depending on how big your party is, you are either combined with a group of people or put in front your own private open kitchen. Each kitchen includes a large grill top where your personal chef cooks your meal in front of you.

It is super family friendly and the chefs demonstrate their tricks, great for younger kids. The food is great! You get to try different meats which is accompanied by different dipping sauces!

Overall, it is great for a large group and trying out different foods in a fun and exciting way!

We had dinner in the restaurant. Expected a very nice experience as the restaurant is located in Hyatt hotel.
The food was great. However, the service should definitely be improved. We waited for drinks and food for a very long time, and we got dishes in disorganized order: e.g. miso soup arrived very late after we ate all the sushi and other starters. We had different dishes: they brought a few dishes for one of us and nothing for the other. Waiters were trying hard and were very polite and sorry for delays and the mess. But at the same time they looked lost where they should run first.
IMHO, the process of the food preparation-service in the restaurant should be reconsidered and improved if they want to get "5" stars and represent Hyatt in the best way.

We went here because of the free set dinner for 2 with our luxury escape deal at the grand hyatt. We also used 3 of our free cocktail vouchers here during our Teppanyaki dinner. Dinner was a salad starter, grilled veggies, fish of the day, chicken thighs with garlic chips, steak followed with fried rice. Dessert was a lovely lime brûlée with coconut ice cream.
Can't complain, we enjoyed a night out where we didn't have to bring out the wallet.

This was fantastic. We were worried we wouldn't be welcome with our kids 5 and 8, but they were very welcoming, and the kids loved the theatrics of the chefs.

Food was amazing, and the ambiance and surroundings are second to none.
