As we were traveling by an overnight rajdhani train we needed a place to freshen up and then proceed with our local tour of Mathura & Vrindawan, based on Trip-advisor ratings I booked Hotel Brijwasi Royal, Mathura for a day.

Rooms & Beds are OK, though clean Bathrooms still need improvement, Location’s Good, Staff is courteous and Food at Brijwasi Hotel is tasty.

A must do in Mathura are Dwarkadish Temple, Banke Bihari Temple, Govardhan Parwat & Birla Temple.

This hotel can easily be called a gem of the city. Owned by probably the biggest business name from the city, it has got excellent connections. You seek a service, like a cab or city tour or something similar, and they would arrange it for you.. just like that...

The hotel is at a nice place, though crowded all the time. Night time can be tricky around there.. avoid if possible.

the rooms are pretty nicely sized, cleanliness is ok. maintained better than many, europeans would still find it not so nice... maintenance staff can improve a lot.

the food at the restaurant is amazing in taste and price. I was surprised to see the bill for the first time, can this be so cheap... I mean relatively :)

the parking space is very cramped, they should try something better and bigger.

A plus point that i liked was the party space they have in their basement. However, it can turn into quite a problem if there is a party down there, and you are trying to sleep... try going their in off season for indian weddings...

very quick service, and polite too, rooms are clean and comfy, location is in middle of town and you can get direct autos or taxis to dwarikadish temple, nearby bus stand, railway station, krishna janam bhoomi, vrindavan, gokul, goverdhan and barsana etc. best is their family restraunt and the food quality is superb and fingar licking good. don't frget to buy local delicacy "peraa" from brijwasi shop at bus stand.

I stayed in Brijwasi oyal from 15th Nov, to 16th Nov.
The reception at the hotel was warm.
I had booked the room over telephone.
The information detailed on the phone was very clear.
The hotel rooms are fairly kept clean. I did not appreciate the bath room. At first ight you feel sad but it is not too bad. Can be improved a little bit.
The food we ordered was tasting good.
I am not too sure about the non veg food but the vegetaerians can enjoy.
The morning breakfast is complementary. Variety of diet and heath concuious food was served for breakfast.
The tarriffs are little expensive for the facilites and the services offered.
The main draw back was the non availability of taxi facility in the hotel fro local site visit.
Overall the hotal stay was comfotable.

I am a frequent visitor in Mathura for my official visits.
But i always stay in Brijwasi royal..... Brijwasi name itself is the name of Lord Shree Krishna...... and "Brijwasi ki Mithai" are so famous and tasty.....

Talking about the hotel, the reception is so spacios that it attracts the visitor....
Again they serve fantastic food in their restaurant at the ground floor.

Rooms are very spacious and room service is very fast.
The hotel is situated half km from bus stand and 1 km from railway station.

I suggest you to stay in Brijwasi royal and experience the royalty....
