We stayed at BrijRama for 2 days. We had asked for pickup from the Airport. We were greeted as we got out of the plane and were treated very well by a variety of folks through our our stay. Rooms are small probably because old layouts had to be tweaked to accommodate a bathroom as well, but comfortable. We ended up eating in the hotel more often than we originally had planned. The restaurant is good with a reasonable variety. Prices are five star. Breakfast was included in our rate and had plenty of choice. We mostly had Indian (South and North Indian) and both tasted very good.
Staff are very courteous and attentive - Sandeep, Prem, Pradeep and Ambresh to name a few of many made our stay very comfortable in every way possible.
Location is fantastic if one wants to be close to the core of Old Varanasi - on the Ghats, very close to Dasaswamedh Ghat where evening Aarti happens. They provide boat transfers to Assi Ghat which makes access to lower parts of the City (BHU area, Sankat Mochan etc.) easier. Overall great location with five star comforts in the heart of Varanasi.
