Had a great stay at this guest house. Location is right at the Ghat and it offers great view of Ganges. Thoroughly enjoyed the lovely views both at dawn and dusk besides taking the boat ride arranged by the owner Tandon jee up to Assi Ghat and then to Dashashwamedh Ghat for the famous Ganga Arti, which was a mesmerising experience. Highly recommended.

Nothing really. There is a walk of 10 minutes from the main road to reach the Ghat and this location. Property arranges for porter service to carry luggage and escort to the property.
Room Tip:
Ask for rooms at higher floors for better view and privacy. They fully justify the higher cost and are value for money.
It was a very nice experience staying in this hotel and the staff was very good and polite the rooms were clean and the washrooms were also clean it's nice for 2 or 3 families to stay in this hotel best
Shiva Ganga guest house serves you with the bestest stay in Varanasi. This guest house is located near the banks of Ganga river giving you the bestest views of Ganga. Staff is extremely cooperative and polite and hospitality which is making me rate excellent. A must to visit.

We stayed for 2 nights in Family Suit in Shiva Ganges View. Location of this hotel is perfect, just on the banks of Ganga so we could spend all our time close to Nature. Just came downstairs walked on the ghats and took boat rides to go from on ghat to other. Boat rides are quite inexpensive, in just 500-600 rupees (about 7-8 dollars) you can get a round trip. Hotel is nicely maintained and very neat and clean. Mr. Tandon (owner of the hotel) and all the staff members of the hotel are very friendly. It was a wonderful stay!
