amazing rooms, good view and enjoyed stay. Uncle who owns and runs the place is so nice and the rest of the staff is so helpful. The location is perfect it is right at the edge of the ghat- u have to literally get off and go to the ghats. The rooms have beautiful views of the ghats and Ganges.

A windy narrow varanasi lane is what leads you to the hotel. Just as you are about to reach it you get your first glance of Ganges which is breathtaking. Entering the hotel, you find the lovely ‘Babuji’ sitting royally but welcoming us with a nice smile. Once inside the hotel the interiors are wow. Beautifully decorated and grandiose. The rooms are well designed and nicely done up. The A/C was definitely needed and we did use the mini fridge a lot.
Everyone working in the hotel were polite and always helpful. They were always ready to help and accommodate our requests.
Definitely recommend for visit for anyone interested in visiting Varanasi.
Outstanding property, right at the bank of the Ganga.
We spent a week here and enjoyed every moment of it. We took the suite at the top floor. View from our room as well as from the terrace was stunning. Rooms were spotless, toilet was clean. Food was tasty and homely (special thanks to Gopal Ji, for the excellent preparations).
All the support staff were extremely helpful. They took extra care to satisfy our every request.

The staff of this place is very cordial food was fresh homely tasty and hygienic , overall the stay was very comfortable and pleasant.property is situated very close to mansarovar ghat.
My wife and I (both 70 years plus) spent the last day of our visit to Kashi (Varanasi/Benares) at the quaint Shiva Ganes View Hotel. We literally stumbled upon this hotel while desparately browsing various sites as we had to seek a new hotel for an extended day's stay. In retrospect ,we can thank our lucky stars for the experience

We were greeted by an elderly gentleman with a smile .I began by saying that I have a reservation. He surprised me by addressing me by my name and said he was expecting me.He played a perfect host,seated us ,treated us to a hot cup of tea and chatted with us to put us at ease after the walk.
A retired Banker,82 years,mentally alert and physically fit to escort you up two flights of stairs to your room,passionately describing in detail the fixtures and the comforts with pride left me bewildered

Room 7 which he gave us was larger than any recent hotel rooms that I have occupied. Bright and airy,it was the size of two rooms. Well appointed, a large king sized bed,a do van,two sofa sets, it was opulent. The usual trappings of arefrigerator,a large TV and a powerful General airconditioner gave it the modern veneer.. All very well maintained,clean,spic and span and sanitized.
Tandonji and his wife manage the hotel which has been their home for decades. They run it like their home... A feeling you experience at each step.Guests are greeted personally and their comforts enquired.
A menu ,which Tandonji insisted is shown to me,had a variety catering to all tastes.We had dinner and breakfast and it was like home cooked meals.

on the ghats of the Ganges,a hotel that is run like a home with the whole family participating ,you will love this place.
A word about the assistance.Vinod endeared us by attending to our needscarrying our luggage and serving us the food ordered exacrltly the way we wanted early in the morning. Soft spoken,courteous he would quitly and efficiently see things get done.
Manish Kashyap, whim Tandonji introduced to us is a mira çle worker. A local who knows his way not only around Varanasi but also all the ropes worked the miracle of getting us excellent darshan att bot Kashi Vishwanath temple and Kaal Bhairav temple between y6 pm and 8pm on an evening when TYthe Chief Minister was visiting the temple and the nepaleses Premier was due the next morning. All
during high security bandobasts.

Thank you very much for the stay at your lovely guest house and your help with transfer from and to the Airport. Breakfast at the rooftop terrace was great including a wonderful view over the Ganges and monkey watching. We felt Safe and very welcome here. Located very centrally in walking distances to the most important ghats.
