This is my first time stay at this property having stayed in Birjrama Palce and Nadeshwar Palace many times in the past. Thanks to my friend Sunil Gupta for suggesting this gem , I would not have known and stayed with them otherwise. This property is right on the banks of the river and very basic in comforts (infrastructure wise) but big hearted in service standards. Their manager, Mr Mukesh and a team of dedicated people make you forget about the so called luxury of the super star properties and enjoy their ever attentive and dedicated service. Mr Mukesh goes out of his way to help his guests (new and old and without any discrimination what so ever). Mr Mukesh is always available on phone and he genuinely strive to help his guests. You can reach this property by a little bit of walk through the busy lines of Varanasi or request them to send their boat to pick you up from a close by Ghat ( I would recommend especially the first timers to avail this facility). They serve reasonably nice food and their Adharak Chai (ginger tea) is tasty and refreshing. The amenities are basic so as the pricing. I would recommend the non adventurous travelers to carry their own pillow covers, bath towels and toiletries to add to their extra comforts.
