The hotel is not what they showcase on the websites. First,its' inside an alley, so u might need to carry your luggage from the main road till the hotel as the road leading to the hotel is quite narrow and might not accommodate cabs. Second, both my kids had food poisoning after having food from there,we spotted rats roaming around in corridors, licking away the leftovers from the plates kept outside different rooms. If u need hot water, u might need to tell them at least 10 minutes ago so they start on the boiler. For us, on the 3rd day of stay, the boiler broke down, so they told us nothing could be arranged, that too at 8 AM, they said it would be only rectified once electrician is available. When we were done with bathing at around 8:30 AM it suddenly dawned upon them that they could have provided us with a heating rod, which they did send to us but not of much use to us by that time. Some staff are polite, some not that great. Currently lift is not working so till 3rd floor every time it was a task for us.The housekeeping doesn't clean he rooms until 1 PM (it seems that is the protocol), even at 3 PM we had to inform them that its' high time. Not a great experience, overall.

Wonderful stay in this hotel rooms very comfortable warm with cosy blankets. Staff very pleasant, helpful and polite. Restaurant food delicious the waiters were excellent so helpful kind and had terrific knowledge of Varanasi. We can highly recommend this hotel
