Assi ghat is 1.5 KM from BHU, Varanasi. The place is very much suitable for picnic, evening walk. Foreigners also comes to visit the Assi ghat. At this place the river named Assi meets in river Ganga. Most of the wonderful thing to see at Assi ghat is evening aarti which starts at 7.00PM daily. One can also enjoy the boating. Sometimes cultural events are also organised at Assi Ghat.

Assisi ghat is the last ghat on the banks of Ganges in Varanasi. Ganga aarthi in the morning and evening is performed with divinity. We attended the evening aarthi by 7 pm and it was a visual treat. Performed with precision and devotion this experience is one you should never miss when traveling to Varanasi. An experience beyond words only to be felt

Assi Ghat is the southernmost ghat of river Ganga in Varanasi(Kashi). It's popular among foreign tourists, students, researchers etc. It's often visited for recreation apart Devotion. The famous "Sankat Mochan" temple of Lord Hanuman is close by. Divinity, spirituality, belief, devotion, culture & harmony is what defines Kashi and its culture. Worth a Visit.

this is one of the 84 ghats here in Varanasi. It is slightly away from the hub of the city and is therefore more peaceful. also one can park one's car there and there are fewer steps to climb up and down. There is an aarti every evening and it is not as crowded as the aarti at dashashwamedh ghat. Also one can easily get a boat from here.

The mornings are especially nice here. One can watch the sunrise and then there is a music program held here every morning called subah banaras. they are very nice.

there are quite a few hotels very close by and they cater to the foreign taste also.
