We were there at bara imambara on Friday around 11 am and we were not allowed to go inside saying entry is after 3pm. There was no timing board or anytime and we ended up taking a picture from outside. Do not forget: If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below.

We almost did not hire the service of a guide. Primarily because we were not quite comfortable in Hindi, and none of the guides at hand were familiar with any other language. However, an elderly man was persevering, and offered to make the effort to speak slowly, with the occasional English phrase, so we hired him. And boy, did it pay off ! This place merits an entire morning, to go through and marvel at the sights and stories that went into the creation of this engineering marvel.

It's really fascinating architectural marvel I visit in my lifetime. The classical stairs those confused visitors look like brain stromming puzzles.Without guide you may got trouble. One of the most explore-able monument.
