They kept dinner for us until 8.15 as we had been to the theatre. It was worth the wait good home cooked food and even got gin and tonic and wine!!
Bedroom sheets smelled lovely and room was bright and colourful. Shower and toilet very clean.
Our hostess was very kind and welcoming.
Shame we only had one night. A definite if you are going to Agra!!

Room Tip: We had No 9 and was great. All other travelers were very happy.

Nice accommodation and welcoming hosts. My aunt, who came from Canada was saying the set up was reminding her of a B&B she visited in Mexico. The surrounding ambiance of the hotel is very nice. I think the set up could be considered as a boutique one. You'll love to sit at the garden in front and read books. Food is good. The bathroom in one of our rooms at the ground floor was spacious and well decorated. The geyser in both of our rooms didn't seem to be very well functioning. That was the only issue. Otherwise the hotel is very close to the Taj mahal, which is a big advantage.

Two of us stayed at this homestay for one night while visiting the Taj Mahal and were very happy we did! We had a nice reception and welcome drink. It was the first time we stayed at a homestay when traveling and appreciated connecting with people who actually lived there.

At first we thought we would miss the opportunity to eat at Coral Tree as we had plans that evening to go to the Taj; however, they were quite accommodating and invited us to join dinner upon our return at our convenience. As others have mentioned, the food overall was varied and tasty--especially those spicy pancakes at breakfast!

The room had a king size bed and was so bright. It also felt spacious. It was also very clean. It definitely was a solid choice for a one night stay and a fine intro to a homestay experience.

Vandna and her staff made us feel entirely comfortable and welcome. She is knowledgeable, resourceful and very helpful. The enclosed garden and the communal dining area were great spots to unwind and share stories and travel tips with fellow guests. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. The meals were tasty, and we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the local wines. Overall a great experience, and an equally great value besides.

This is a basic bed and breakfast
And the 5* rating is relative.
I would expect that most of the reviewers are drawn from towards the backpacker scale of travellers.
It's main attribute is that it is walking distance to the Taj Mahal and that means it scores highly if you want to beat the queues to get there before sunrise
It's pleasant enough for one night.
Your vegetarian evening meal is served in a communal fashion which means you get to meet other interesting travellers which is always a plus.
If you are looking for additional comforts other than a bed , shower and something to eat then this isn't for you.
