“Baby taj”
Reviewed 26 April 2012

Often described as 'jewel box', sometimes called the 'Baby Taj', the tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Tāj Mahal. One of the finest places to visit during your trip to Agra

“The Baby Taj”
Reviewed 22 April 2012

It's indeed a smaller version of the Taj Mahal only 10 min away from Taj Ganj. The Tomb is beautiful from the outside and ok in the inside.

“Architectural Marvel”
Reviewed 15 April 2012

The building makes justice to the person buried inside... Emperor Akbar... huge place for one man... but then he was true emperor.. respected all three religons HINDU, CHRISTIAN and ISLAM... one can see all three styles adopted in building by architect.... Grave of AUrangzebs daughter ZEBUNNISA begum is also inside... and so are some architectural marvels on acoustics.... speak in corner to one pillar and sound travels diagonally across and you can hear it clearly at the other pillars... can todays architects build something similar...?

“Beautiful, uncrowded - definitely worth a visit”
Reviewed 14 April 2012

A definite highlight. Beautiful stonework much more to see on the inside than the Taj and absolute masterpiece. We got there late afternoon and there were maybe 10 other people there. Lovely grounds for relaxing in, just watch the monkeys! A shame they charge to use the bathroom. Unnecessary given you've paid to get in. Oh and avoid the beggar girl who throws stones at you if you don't give her money. Ignoring those irritations the place is stunning and a 'must visit'.
