We booked the room with the view of the Taj which is quite pricey vs a standard room. The view is not really like the pictures you see on their website. We could only see half the Taj as the view was obstructed by a building. Big minus for paying such a high price.
The next issue we ran into was that there was construction one floor above ours. Since we booked the hotel to relax, hearing drilling and banging for most of the day was very unpleasant and tiring. Additionally, our stay was for 3 nights. After the first night, we woke up to a small puddle of water near our bed(we almost tripped). There was a leak from the ceiling and we could see there was water dripping. There was another leak forming right above the bed (it would have been really fun to wake up with something dripping on our head). When mentioned to the staff, they changed our room to one with a little better view, but same quality and noises. We didn't really get an upgrade, offer for a meal or even a real apology for the issue.
Lastly, the hotel advertises a restaurant or bar on the roof with an amazing view; this was unfortunately closed.
Hence the main reasons why we chose this hotel were unfortunately not there, therefore I would not recommend this hotel.
