This was a memorable experience. The family and staff at Kohinoor Jewellers exemplify professionalism. The showroom exudes luxury and the jewellery is amazing. The collection of magnificent 3D embroidery was unforgettable. Well worth a visit.

Great jewelry but the embroidery was absolutely amazing.

The detail and the jewels were amazing.

The private collection of Padmashri Shams were unbelievable.

Years of pain staking work.

Kohinoor is a very well known jewelry & tapestry shop, a favorite with foreign tourists and tour groups. As one might expect from a high end store, there is no bargaining and prices go from steep to astronomical.

here is a place for buying jewelleries. but the most great thing is the small museum there that exhibits some art works of Shams olddin and one of Momtaz Mahal dresses.then if you want, you can buy jewelleries.

If you want to buy and understand about jewellery than do go and have a chat with Mr.Ghanshyam Mathur, the erstwhile owner of the place.A fine gentleman who patiently showcases the entire fine embroidery work & other jewels.

If you have to impart lifestyle lessons to your team it won't be a bad idea to go there with a prior appointment. There is so much to learn in the manner the business is run & best to learn what to wear & when to wear as far as jewellery goes.

Soft beverages & good drinking water is served.I know of a Tour Manager Franklin Fox from Travcoa Tours of USA who used to be a great with his guest & he had also taken me to the Kohinoor jewellers in 1987.

Thank Vilaas
