This hall is located inside Meenakshi Amman temple. The entrance fee is RS5 for adult. My advise, do not try to count the pillars. :)

The "Aayiram Kaal Mandapam" or otherwise called as Thousand Pillar Hall is spectacular Musem . There are around 900 odd Pillars where each Pillars are carved with various hindu gods, many different lions and many more hindu mythology sculptures.

There is also "Temple Art Musem " which exhibits many icons, photos, drawings and also prototype of the Meenakshi Amman Temple too.

At the end of the hall , one can see magnificant dancing pose of Shiva aslo known as Nataraja. This place is ailso refered as Pancha Sabhai. The perform regualr arathi to the GOD and the place is quite peaceful here.

Its very good place to spend some time to overview of 12th century history and architetures of 16th century. It really well mainatined musem.
