I had a very pleasant experience staying in a comfortable room of the Le Meridien.
The staff were courteous and attentive. The interior of the hotel was tastefully designed; the food was good with plenty of variety. The view from my room was attractive; check-in and check-out were orderly and systematic. My baggage appeared out of nowhere in my room and I simply shut the door and walked down to the front office to return the keys. My luggage appeared as if by magic near my waiting car. No stress. A truly relaxing experience that must have added a few years to my life span (I am 82)

The size of the Hotels hits You in terms of being spacious and Grand . Well located on the highway it is close to the airport And ideal for business meetings and conference . The facilities especially the rooms are slightly run down and in need of major repairs - air conditioning , plumbing etc . The restraints are well designed and offer choices in cuisines but the fare in terms of taste leaves a lot to be desired . The staff is desirous to help but needs a little bit more training to learn English language and service . Would like to give benefit of doubt to the hotel for being under stress and short staffed as we visited during Pongal
Stayed last Friday at this hotel . What amazed me more is the positive attitude of the staff right from the Chauffeurs to door man to front desk to service team ! Everyone in this hotel were the extremely courteous and wore a genuine smile . while you are in the lobby , you will be surprised by the grandeur . Check in was smooth . Room 6035 (Suite) was well kept . Spotless bed sheets and brilliantly clean bathrooms . We had dinner at their Indian speciality restaurant ( Peacock) and the food tasted divine ! One should try their chettinadu delicacies and it’s truly exceptional. Breakfast spread was well laid out and service was prompt too . Had a walk through of the entire property and I was told that their speciality Italian restaurant and Pan Asian restaurants are the talk of the town ! We had a shot stay and for sure on my next visit , shall be trying those as well . The spa is massive with several treatment rooms along with a well equipped health club . Had also an opportunity to see their Banqueting venues with a grand ball room which can accommodate more than 2000 pax and numerous other board rooms and meeting rooms . I think they have the largest banqueting facility in town . So overall this hotel scores high whether you are on a conference , social function or a stay .
