Tamara is a lovely resort with good scenic beauties around it. Surrounded by ghats and water form siruvani gives a pleasant view in the morning time. Good time to visit is between November and February. I went with my family there to stay for 2 nights and 3 days. Stayed in the tented accommodation. It was really a nice experience. The tents are located just in front of the water front which gives a very pleasant views all the day. It was big enough for 4 adults and 2 kids. From there you can visit valparai which is around 130KM (one way). The resort will help on availing cabs at cheaper prices. Another important thing to mention is the staff support. staffs are excellent and they really helped in whatever possible ways they can. This resort is just 8KMs from the ISHA foundation, which is another plus point.
One thing i would like to mention here is about the food prices. Food quality is good but it is little bit on the expensive side.
Overall this is an excellent place to stay and relax with family/friends. I would definitely visit this place once again probably during the winter time (Nov to Feb). Thanks to staff support.
