Since the buffet in main restaurant got closed , we were forced to take the mid night buffet which was charged 325 per head. It was very reasonable considering the fact that they gave fish curry, chicken curry , Biriyani, Tamarind rice, curd rice, dosa, eggs , veg curries etc. Its highly recommended for midnight owls.More

This is a favourite hotel and every time in this city i stay here. Very good food, courteous staff, ambience, etc.
The room is tidy and cozy.
Whether with family or otherwise, it's a good choice. Not very expensive for the quality... so its a value for money. A pleasant surprise is 24 hours check out. What else you could ask for !

The Alankar Grande is a very old hotel in Coimbatore & very well known.
The rooms are very cozy & comfortable with a good set of toiletries. The beds are clean with good linen. The furniture is good & equipped with a study table. The lightening is also very decent. The entertainer system has a good tv unit with even HD channels of all languages.
The internet speed is definitely slow & the coupons provided don’t last even 2 to 3 hours.
The food is well spread & breakfast is well laud out.
The overall cleanliness is good.
A good place to stay.

A very decent place to stay in the heart of Coimbatore town. The rooms are comfortable. The food is good. The room service is pretty fast. The personal are well mannered and polite. There is ample car park area, though it is outdoor. They have a 24 hour coffee shop, a bar and a pastry shop.

I stayed in this hotel for a day trip to Coimbatore. The rooms are very small. This is good only for couple. Not recommended for a family. Restaurants and Bar inside the hotel and it is heart of the City. If you want to spend time for shopping and related activitiesl, this is the best place to stay.

In restaurant, food menus are simple . more oil used for cooking. Rate also high. Ambience is good. veg menus are average. non-veg items are not in good taste. Vehicle Parking area is good. only thing is easy to go from main road.
