The best and the worst point of the hotel is the Location :-

Best:- It is located outside the city of Udaipur in a very calm ambience and is very well illumiated in the evening.

Worst:- This calm is time and again destroyed by the trains which pass at awkward hours and wake you up.

The Swimming pool of the hotel is not so good and is not even having enough space to sit and just relax.

The rooms of the hotel are all the same. They are very spacious and at the same time very basic. We can see that the furniture of the hotel is basic and the problem is always there with the hot water. It is very hot comes only for few minutes and than finished. I got stuck in the bathroom with my shampoo on. So, this is not the kind of service that we should expect.

As for the food :- It is very good but again the staff are not at all professionals, however try their best to be helpful.

Room Tip: All are the same. Try to get on to more south...

We spent the 2012 new year eve at The Udai Baug and had a lovely and memorable stay there. Food, both at the restaurant and at the Gala dinner, was amazing. Rooms were clean and service was nice. The setup is great at a nice loaction with a great view although the approach road is bad (about 2km). It was a shade expensive though, albeit due to the Gala dinner charges (2k pre person).

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool give you a great view of the hills from the roof, although this could also be the case for other rooms.

As the photos suggests, the location is wonderful, surrounded by mountains. The resort is away from Udaipur(7-8kms). The food quality and cleanliness of the Restaurant was too good. The Abmience was wonderful. The best time to visit this place is somewhere during monsoon. The room are big in size with private sit-out (veranda) in each room. The interior/exterior of the resort is like palace. There are 2 big gardens and a swimming pool. The staff is very cooperative and the Manager took good care during the entire stay.

Room Tip: Select the first room on the left side, as it is closest to restaurant. ;)

It is a very nice located hotel, surrounded by Hills. Look of the resort is nice.We appreciatethe services offered to us and courtsey of staff.Ever ready to serve.

Food quality is good. A big lawn in centre is a good attraction surrounded by two storey rooms.

For a quick leisure this may be considered at a competitive rate.

Resort has indoor games, pool table, table tennis.

Nice time, better to visit in winter.
