A beautiful resort - perfect as a getaway from hustle-bustle of city life. I stayed at this resort as part of a wedding in our family. As we had booked entire resort foe wedding, I had the privilege of checking many rooms. Location: Excellent location - far from city, but still very close of Udaipur's most visited places like Saheliyno ki Badi, Fatehsagar, Nehru Garden, and yes - Next to Ship-Gram. The area is surrounded by hills. Complete tranquility and peace. Layout and Landscape: The resort has a very nice layout. Reception building has banquets, halls, facilities like Gym, recreation room etc., and the Restaurant. Restaurant opens to a nice little lawn/ garden are, beyond which rooms are located. Dwelling units are located in two groups - one surrounding a beautiful garden and waterbody, and the second one near the pool and open area The highlight for me was the plants and greens. I have never seen such variety of plants at any resort so far - all type of plants - decorative to native trees. And all very beatifully maintained. Also the Waterbody in center (small lake) give a very soothing feeling. Ducks add to the beauty. Rooms:
For dwelling - there are 8 blocks numbered 1-8. 1-6 are older blocks. 1-5 have a set of four rooms each - two each on ground and first floors. All rooms have personal balconies towards the greens/ waterbody or pool. Block 6 is tucked in a peaceful corner completely surrounded by greens - with one room each on GF, FF and SF. 7 and 8 are newer blocks painted White. Block 8 has 7 rooms, while 7 has 10.

All rooms are good - you can pick and choose per your choice. Block 8 has the advantage of having garden/ waterbody in front and Pool at back with large windows overlooking pool. 807 is the lone room on top (second floor) - probably the room with best view if you do not mind the stairs.

Hospitality:
Excellent hospitality, food and service - True Rajasthani style. Very accommodating of all requests.

Certainly we had a great experience there. Would certainly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful stay.More
