We have arrived to Anjani Hotel on a stressfull state due to some issues with our driver. The nice staff and this hotel gave us a break and we finally started enjoying India. It is really cosy, clean and we felt spoiled here. It has an excelent relation price/ quality. The rooms where we stayed were very comfortable and trendy, we had a lot of sunlight which simply fits with the decoration.
They offered us extra services upon our request and they were extremely attentive.
The hotel does not serve meals, but it is possible to get some tea, toast (etc) on the top floor, where other people (very nice as well)explore a small restaurant.

My boyfriend Matt and I stayed here in March. The service was fantastic and our room was extremely well equipped for a value hotel, fresh bright and clean. Loved the fun stained glass windows. The hotel team were very helpful. Also if you want a reasonably priced rickshaw/guide I would definitely recommend a nice man called Kanu. Ask at the hotel desk! We got ripped off so many times before, service with a smile! He took us to a great shop where we bought pashminas, bedspreads etc.... Beautiful gifts and much cheaper than shopping in the centre of the town

We almost drowned in the bed the mattress was so soft as were the pillows. Small but pleasant pool although pool loungers very hard. Free wi-fi and computers but signal was intermitent. Good location, a little hard to find up a steep narrow alley. Helpful and friendly staff although Kalu's "best price" for bus and cars was not the best! Nice roof top terrace with views. We had room 405 which was a little small and cosy and the bathroom smelt if we didn't leave the extractor on. Paid Rs1100 a night for 3 nights. Overall if you want a pool this works really well.

Room tip: Check out a few rooms before you decide

we moved to this hotel from Nukkad Guest House around the corner. i had spent the day in hospital with food poisoning so we decided to move somewhere more comfortable. the staff could not do enough for us. it was so refreshing to find people that were honest, gentle, decent and kind. not naming names but up to that point we had been finding getting around pretty exhausting. this was great value for money, only a little more than we had paid for a very basic room in a very noisy hostel-type place, yet the room was really good quality hotel standard. the hotel is a really pretty, ornate building which has been carefully looked after by its staff. the swimming pool was lovely, and the rooftop restaurant was perfect. we had a ground floor room, we were a little worried that we would be disturbed by people outside in the mornings but our first morning we managed to sleep in until midday! the staff took really good care of us and we were really grateful. even if you cant stay here i would recommend the restaurant.

We were very happy with the Anjani hotel. The food was excellent, and the view from the rooftop restaurant couldn't be beat. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they provide computers for guests' use in the lobby area, so checking email was easy. Our family occupied two super deluxe rooms, which were both quite spacious (like suites, really) and had window seats. They were decorated with lovely paintings and multi-colored hanging glass lanterns. The bed was by far the most comfortable one I've slept on in India. The only small drawbacks to the hotel, in my experience, were that the bathrooms were mostly plain and smelled a bit, and the rooms did not have lake views. However, the terrace view compensated for the latter. I would definitely stay there again.

Room tip: The super deluxe room was worth extra $!
