Excellent location, right on the banks of lake Pichola with excellent view from lake facing rooms and super rooftop restaurant "Upre". Terribly jaded and wornout room conditions. On a double bed there are 2 separate mattresses (if we can call them) as hard as rock and plywood visible on the edges. Even the washrooms are all worn out.
Its high time they refurbish their rooms.

We checked out of our previous hotel disappointed with our luggage in the car and did not have a place to stay for the night. While strolling through the lake we came across few hotels and just walked into Lake Pichola Hotel to check availability. Just on entering me and my husband decided that we have to stay here. Online they were sold out but luckily they did have 2 rooms available. They showed us both, lake facing and non lake facing. The first one was slightly expensive but worth the choice. We took the lake view room and do not regret shelling out some extra thousands at all. It had a small balcony which had an extravagant view at night. The sunrise from here was mesmerizing. They have a restaurant "Upre" which is usually sold out. We dined there and had a once in a lifetime experience. The staff was amazing and Yudhishthir, there Operations Manager was really
friendly and customer centric. Highly recommend for an unforgettable Experience !!

Hotel Property is very amazing due to its Lake Pichola facing rooms. Whole Hotel looks great due to its Heritage look with mirror & paintings work. Lobby looks like darbar hall a good restaurant in it. Boating experience is also amazing in big boat. Seating at Upre open air roof top restaurant in night is also wonderful. It gives Royal King like feelings.

Check in was smooth, morning breakfast too was good, view from the rooftop restaurant was icing on the cake. The food from the restaurant needs improvement as the preparations was not upto mark.

The hotel is actually a heritage property converted into an elegant hotel. opted for a lakeside room. The room turned out to be exactly as shown in hotel website. Beautiful, antique decor combined with modern amenities.
The lakeside room had a small alcove for the Lakeview, with a neat private sitting arrangement. This is a big plus.
The breakfast is served on ground floor, where one gets a glimpse of the magnificent collection of chandeliers above and other regalia. Seating by the lake is a charming option. That is the second plus.
Check out their rooftop restaurant at night. Even in December, we enjoyed the Lakeview at night by a flametorch. Food is quite good. That is a plus.
Minus point is that it is inside the narrow lanes of old Udaipur.
Overall, we had a very satisfying stay at the hotel. The view was simply superb.
The best hotel in udaipur...i had a grt stay here..the staff was really helpfull and grt with there response..love the stay would recomend everyone to have a stay here and food was extra ordinary with the view from my room...
