Booked here for 3 nights. Start of our Rajasthan tour.
Deluxe room suite not available
Extremely good reception staff
Very very polite and helpful.
Amazing views. Room was clean and beds were comfortable
Great shower cheap laundry
Food on terrace was good with lovely views
Service was first rate for dinner

Breakfast was ok omlettte counter coffee and tea machine Indian selection was adequate
Found breakfast staff s bit standoffish but few very very helpful waiters. I mentioned this to the reception and viola the lady and man in charge changed overnight. There were good mornings and smiles and so hope it stays that way
It is well positioned in cleaner part of the town the massage centre just outside the Hotel does some really good massages

Loved the hotel it’s views, cleaning and reception staff all in all a very pleasant stay

The hotel is very beautiful. You must stay here for the view of the most famous lake in Udaipur. The service could be better! Dining in upre is an experience you shouldn't miss. The hair dryers in this hotel are very interesting since they are the ones used in the olden days.

Went here for weekend stay , landed in Udaipur on Friday night. Reaching hotel was convenient. Entered to a horrific stinky room with lake view where you can’t open windows at night owing to mosquitos. Asked staff to get room freshner which was provided immediately. Managed the night , next day woke up to see the view from window but again disgusted with the stained and dirty curtains as you can see. Asked housekeeping to change curtains they didn’t have spare ones so the existing ones were washed n hung by evening. The vintage chair was extremely stained n dirty as well. Keeping room cleanliness aside, staff was extremely cordial and helpful and hence saved the face for this place. Restaurant Upre has fabulous views but food is average and expensive. Spent 7500 for delux lake facing room but didn’t feel that it was value for money.!

The hotel is located in the best spot of Lake Pichola with an incredible view on the city and on city palace.

When we arrived we were stunned by the decor of this heritage hotel, the kindness of the staff and the wonderful suite we got assigned (best one on the corner, with 180+ view on the city and the palace). The suite was huge with two balconies, one with a swing and one with a floor mattress, a perfect place to rest after a day visiting the city! The decor of the room is quirky and authentic, and gives a vintage touch to the experience.

The hotel offers a rooftop restaurant and rooftop pool, again with an incredible view. The food is good and the staff is friendly and nothing can beat that romantic view !

We originally couldn’t find a lake view reservation but they accommodated us with another room upon check-in. The view is so incredibly lovely with flowers lining the side of the river. The room was so quiet, it was almost eery. The restaurant on the rooftop is good enough and super romantic in the evening. Breakfast was good with a CCD espresso machine available for those of us who are coffee obsessed.
