We were excited to stay in tents near the park - on arrival we were exceedingly surprised with the quality of the accommodations and thought seriously about extending our stay at this hotel.
Every need that we had was anticipated in advance. Every time you enter the property you are provided with a warm towel to freshen up with. The tents had heaters, hot water in the shower and hot water bottles in the bed at night. Every morning we were woken up with a pot of chai and some biscuits. The food was delicious, the company and the campfire was fantastic, the transports to and from the train were smooth and assistance with setting up nature walks and trips to the fort was easy. It is in all the little details that this place blew us away! Blankets, hot water bottles, bottles of drinking water and sandwiches were provided for the safari rides - guests of other hotels looked on with envy.
We unfortunately didn't see any tigers or leopards in the park - it seems to be the luck of the draw. Some guests saw both on their first trip in and others were leaving with no special sightings after 5+ trips. However, we found the park beautiful in its own right. And, whether it is just for excitement sake, when we followed alarm calls or tracks it was certainly fun.

A most relaxing hotel, the greatest attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble. We upgraded to a cottage and boy was I glad we did. The biggest bath you ever saw. Husband and I are very tall yet we sat in here in comfort for 2 hours watching the stars. A perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of India. Food was fine, being carnivores we did miss the meat content but nevertheless it was tasty. The fires in the evening with hot cheese on toast canapes were fantastic. It was a wonderful place, we were a little disappointed in the lack of wildlife in the park however, December according to the guides was the worst time of year to visit. Not only was it cold but few animals were around in the park, I would like to visit in the spring when its warmer. Spa was great, we both had a very relaxing massage.

As hardened backpackers we thought long and hard about spending 3 nights at khem villas in one of their tents however I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone visiting Ranthambhore National Park to give it a try. Beautiful surroundings, very comfortable accommodation (including much appreciated hot water bottles!), delicious vegetarian food and impeccable service all made for a fantastic stay. The park itself is lovely, even without having seen any elusive tigers (though most people we met did have a sighting); Ranthambhore fort is well worth a visit too.

This was a fantastic place, we stayed on our journey at the lake palace in udaipur but this was truly to me the most romantic, amazing experience. It was such an incredible treat. The service and staff is incredible. The safaris were amazing, the accomodation (cottage) was superb and romantic, the outdoor bathtub was amazing even in the winter!! under the stars.
My husband and I will definitely return!!
Thank you so much for this amazing experience.

We stayed in the beautiful cottages. The tents also looked nice. The staff was attentive. Fresh grown organic food on in garden. But most of all the hotel manage really seemed to care about Ranthambore National Park and the environment. It has a naturalist speaking in the evenings so you can learn about the struggle to maintain the wild space and protect the animals. The hotel has a lovely spa.
