I sit in my luxury tent looking out hopefully into the semi-wilderness for a ‘sighting’. That is, because, Babu, the resident naturalist, took us for an hour long walk fuelling us with stories of tigers, leopards, deer’s, hyenas and neel gais being sighted around the property as their images get captured by the CCTV cameras placed in the resort. These are then screened for the guests in the large sitting room.
Khem Villas is strictly a vegetarian property. It’s advantage is the liquor licence that supports an outdoor bar, Bonfires are lit here.
The 13 luxury tents with wooden floors, a comfortable double bed, and a stand for hanging clothes. The bathroom has the essential toiletries.
The 8 cottages have a veranda and an open courtyard. An out in the open bath tub with lounging chairs. Tea candles are lit every night to transform it into a romantic setting. 4 cottages face the fields as the other 4 cover the forest area.
The luxury villas face the Aravallis and the grasslands. One villa has an outside Jacuzzi, whilst the other has the bathtub. There is a private space for sunbathing in on loungers. Of course the rooms are larger and come with sit out private verandas apart from a drawing room.
The 4 bedroom unit comprises of the main block. 2 bedrooms upstairs with bay windows. 2 down without.
