It is a Resort in the wilderness, on the buffer zone of Ranthambore National Park with a very Rustic unmettalled typicalIy village type approach road but that is the end of it. Inside Sher Bagh is a place full of warmth caring personnel’s & experiences. The welcome at the Gate of Sujan Sher Bagh is a feeling of grandeur after an 7 hour long drive from Delhi. From the Gate you are taken directly to your accommodation and all check in formalities (Which are minimal, if booked earlier) are done there only
The tent was very very comfortable the only negative was the space between the bed edge and the foot stool provided with the relaxing chair in the tent. But the facility was very well laid out and comfortable so was the wash area with a golden tub
Yes I would fail if I do not mention Ms Ankurita who is Operational Manager was exceptional, interacting with guests and being sensitive to their requirements and solving their problems as far as she could. I had some eye problem and she arranged for the medicine required late at night
It was four days of pure spoiling at sher Bagh
Now the negative —- The Food
Their menu is based on the fact that they presume that the Guests would stay for just 1 or 2 nights especially the breakfast and lunch menu. Not the taste wise food is bad but...It is a Resort in the wilderness, on the buffer zone of Ranthambore National Park with a very Rustic unmettalled typicalIy village type approach road but that is the end of it. Not the taste wise food is bad but is not extraordinarily Good when the food of Rajasthan is very tasteful. Their Chef Mr Gajender tries to satisfy everyone of the Guests, but if you takeaway chillies from him he is unable to dish out a tasteful dish, for him chillies/ pepper is the main stay of tasteful foodMore
