the cottages in this resort are all very charming and considerable effort must have gone into keeping this property so green and every cottage covered in ivy, bougainvillae and honeysuckle creepers!! the cottages look very romantic and every evening the resort organises bonfires, live rajasthani folk music, dancing and puppetry with complimentary tea and snacks which is really lovely to experience after returning for a 3 hour safari in the forest. the ranthambore forest safari entry gate for zone 4 is just 20 min from the property so it's perfectly located and the safari jeeps come and pick you up promptly from this resort. the resort staff provide early morning masala chai right from 5:45 am for those going on the morning safari! every meal at the resort is a buffet and they spoil you with a lot of variety and serve hot fresh bread/rotis all the time! we also enjoyed stretching out on the string beds called charpoys which were placed near the rooftop bar so that all you had for company was the warm winter sun, the blue sky, some curious langurs, and regular chirping of birds as they flew across the bright blue sky! the resort has a nice swimming pool too although it was too cold in November to think of swimming.More
