We stayed in this property for a couple of nights last week. In terms of the look & feel, it’s a pure heritage experience and a superb feel of Rajasthani royalty. Incidentally, there was a large wedding in the venue and that’s why we could not relish the feel of the palace properly but I surely look forward to a second chance.
Firstly, the service quality is Immaculate and I must say that every member of the hotel were trying their best to ensure our satisfaction. I cannot but name a few persons whom I remember who really went out of the way to make us happy -
1) Atul ji in restaurant was simply superb. The way he took care of us needs a special mention.
2) Rajveer ji in front desk personally helped us securing the safari trip and helped us out of his way.
3) Last but surely not the least, Mahipal ji, their General Manager himself was very courteously leading from the front and never hesitated from interacting and supporting the guests.
I am an avid traveler and have been to so many places in around 60 countries in the world but I must mention, in terms of personal touch and customer satisfaction, Nahargarh Ranathambhor will surely stay in my memory for a long time. Kudos to the team there
Another special mention is the quality of their food. Simply superb. Fresh homegrown vegetables and milk cooked in a traditional style and it really brings the authentic taste of Rajasthani food. Their non-veg dishes, mutton lalmaas or chicken rassa are mouthwatering too. In fact, for food alone, this property is a must-visit destination in Ranthambore. We took some packed sandwiches with us to have it en-route and the care and personal touch with which the same was packed was also worth an appreciation.
Overall, a great place with great food and outstanding quality of service and lovely people. It would be impossible to look for any other property if I ever visit Sawai Maadhopur again. 7 Star Experience
We have been there recently and booked two rooms with them (Room 106 and 306). Did a lot of survey before finalizing this property even though it was on the higher side in prices. But after reaching there and staying there for 3N I believe it has been more than a value for money experience for us. They offer all inclusive packages (rooms, all meals, evening tea etc.) . Also, they have been taking ample precautions against Covid and sanitization processes were a routine as we saw.
As parents were travelling (with lot of food restrictions), the right kind of food arrangements were very important for us. We had briefed their F&B manager (name unfortunately forgotten) upon arrival and for our ENTIRE STAY, he was most vigilant and not once we needed to remind him or point out for ANY food preparation. I agree occupancy was low, but we got a lot of personalized attention. Staff is courteous. Much appreciated!
Rooms are HUGE by modern standards, well lit, have all the necessary amenities and the property has been designed keeping the Rajasthani culture in mind and does decent justice to the same. Even their washrooms are huge and sort of give a royal feeling. All toiletries are provided as standard. Our top floor room (306) had a personal sit out balcony offering panoramic views of the beautiful place as far as visibility was possible. The room below this one (106) had a very nice "jharokha" kind of place (instead of the sit out balcony) with mattresses and pillows for an evening tea experience. The area so big, a good 3-4 people could comfortably sleep in there. Their rooms do not have TV, but hey... we didn't miss the absence of this junkbox even for a minute there during our stay. Wireless internet was available in the resort, not the best but not even the worse I would say. Their beds are amazingly comfortable. We may have slept well because of the tiredness as well, but I would still rate their beds VERY high in terms of comfort and sleep index.
They have big courtyards in each section. The overall ambience of the resort gives a very soothing, relaxing and homely feeling. Does not give you the commercial feel at all, and I think that's where they've aced it. Meals are well spread and have a lot of options to offer even when occupancy was low. Each dish prepared was of high standard and lip smacking tasty. Overall, quite a large palette of options during each meal. Apart from rooms, food is their prime highlight. We were told they have their own farms from where they procure vegetables as well as own cows for milk. Evening Tea is served in the first courtyard, where the reception, dining hall is. Their dining hall is magnificent, to say the least. The decor, ambience, look and feel is exemplary.
The swimming pool towards the end (they have two pools btw) is a must visit place and offers amazing photo ops. They have raised platforms on both sides of the pool from where you can get good sunset glimpses. The lighting at night makes this place look even more royal and glorious. Do not miss a round towards the evening to soak up all the beauty this place offers, while lit up at night. There are gardens all around and just staying in the resort is a sensational experience in itself. There's not much to do in Ranthambore anyways, apart from the Safari and staying in a good resort.
We also had a very good experience in the Safari but not mentioning here because it's not really directly related. However, this resort is VERY close to the main entrance of the National Park, just about 1.5 kms.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here as a family for a much needed refreshing break!
Sincerely hope they keep up the good work.
The Property was huge and well maintained. I loved both the pools, food and heritage feel of the property. It has huge courtyards and they are so picturesque.
The Property is so green and has all kinds of facilities.
The Staff took personal interest in taking care of our needs.
Since we traveled with our 1 Year old kid. He was extremely happy playing around the huge courtyards and gardens they have. Also, they fulfilled all the special food requirements we had for him.
Special thanks to Mr.Vilas, Ajay and Rajbeer for helping us with our stay.
Also, I would highly suggest this property for Destination Weddings because of the multiple venues they have such pool sides, banquet halls and courtyards.
The best property to stay, the resort is very beautiful, food is delicious, the staff is very helpful and co operative, neat and clean pool, beautiful rooms, excellent service, special thanks to mr. Mahipal, Mr. Ravinder, ajay and all staff members. I recommend only this property to stay in rannthambore.

The hotel is spacious - an important factor this year. It is located just outside the gates to Zone 2-5 of the forest so you don’t have to drive too far to enter it. We had a large room on the top floor with a huge terrace with a 360 view all to ourselves. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the food was delicious. To top it all, we spotted a tiger!
