“Preserved rich history”
Reviewed 26 April 2012

We arrived here by city bus (in 45 minutes) from Railway station. It is basically large park housing ruined fort, functional museum (nominal ticket) and some architecturally important temples. At the park entrance, there were security guards who told about whole park so that is very tourist friendly experience! One should first visit museum by coming straight from main gate entrance (in the way to museum are a complex having idols of various devtaas and a temple just before museum). Fort is ruined and I can't say that climbing on fort is allowed or not! After seeing the museum, we went to a restaurant (average food) for lunch. Restaurant is located on a altitude so giving nice panaromic view of whole garden. Then we visited some temples, really magnificent in architecture, and this is the area which is cremation ground of rulers. Then, we came out of garden and you can find buses going to Osian (for camel safari).

“Not a garden....”
Reviewed 13 April 2012

The place is huge but no maintained at all. Couple of structures were really good, but it was full of Monkey and Pigeons. It is spread in big area so need time to walk through. As such not much see to see from a tourist point of view. There is a museum of archaeological importance, but that does not impress every one. There not much arrangement for tourist. If you are moving in a large group only then go there to treat it as outing,
