Beautiful rug

Eleven years ago we bought two small rugs when visiting the village. They lasted very well however we wanted to replace them with one long runner of the same design and colour. We contacted Chotaram directly and had a bespoke dhurrie made. The process was simple and transparent. The rug is excellent and just what we wanted.

beautifiul products - we brought some home

Interesting visit to see how they make these, and many beautiful designs. We liked them enough to bring one home with us as a souvenir of our fantastic visit to Jodhpur.

Beautiful rug

After seeing my friend’s rugs I knew I wanted one of the Pukhraj durries for sure new townhouse. Chotaram was so helpful and I got the rug I wanted in the right colours and perfect size for my living room. Chhotaram was so helpful and even though COVID caused so many hassles and delays Chhotaram kept me informed of the the rug’s production progress.

Incredible rugs that will become our family heirlooms!

We ordered a jute rug after learning about their online shop during a virtual cooking class we took with the owners on AirBnb. Our rug arrived to Texas one week after ordering (!!) and with free shipping! The rug is absolutely stunning, is incredibly well made, and the price was great. I look forward to commissioning a custom rug soon, and I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Thank you!

hand hand made!

We drove out to this small village and met the owners and had a wonderful 2 hours drinking tea, talking about village life and finally ordering a durry!. We received photos of our durry on the loom and it was professionally mailed to us in Delhi and now it is in our dining room. What a cool experience to have a hand made rug with this kind of back story!!

Do yourself a favor and make the drive!!
