Heritage, absolutely beautiful exteriors, literally ex palace, though perhaps not all ex as part retained as private dwelling.
Absolutely excellent location re access to old city.
Rooms very nice, all aspects functional and clean, well presented etc.
Wifi a bit of an issue with volume based log in access, staff will freely supply however.
Wifi reception perhaps understandably a bit poor, but remember massive walls etc.
Perhaps a switch to multiple private hot spot dongles? Another more budget hotel used these very effectively for unlimited always logged in data.
Pool - firstly it had one! Very welcome refreshing place. When they became aware we were using, things like extra towels and mattresses materialised - I suggest quietly mentioning you intend to use if the place is quiet as it was for us in off season, staff absolutely helpful and obliging.
Place kept really clean, washing courtyards etc - we were only guests for 2 of 3 days pretty much.
I would absolutely stay here again given the chance.
Our room's a/c was very noisy - we were in a lower tier cost room I believe. More luxurious places appeared to have more modern and presumably quieter a/c.
So, pros and cons, but an amazing place so I recommend to tryMore
