we came to jaisalmer in order to explore the golden city of India. having heard a lot about it and considering it near to the indo-pak border we decided to stay in a hotel from which we ll have accessibility for everything. We choose KALYAN BHAWAN for our shelter as it is situated at the heart of the city and is having all the facility a tourists looks for.its rooms are extra spacious ,room service is excellent and above all the owner and the staffs are very friendly in nature. They treated us as their own family and thats the most important thing a new comer wants in a new place. The Hotel owner himself organised trips for us so that we get the cheapest and the best trip to the renowned desert of india. overall we were overwhelmed by the hospitality we got at KALYAN BHWAN.

Room tip: Top most floor give the view of the entire city and is really good to have.

Feel the rajasthani pulse at this place. It houses some really old rifles some said to be at least 150 years old. Giving an idea of how weapons were during the sepoy mutiny. You would get a feel of royal inheritance in this place. The rajasthani heritage is too
Prominent. Stay here is economical and worth every rupee. The owner is hospitable and goes the extra mile for making the stay all the more memorable. Needless to stay the room was clean and tidy.

This hotel is situated right in the heart of buzzling market area where much of the traditional look is still maintained.don't miss the rooftop restaurant, One gets a very good glimpse of the nearby jaisal fort glittering in the evening darkness. Rooms are neat and clean with very hospitable staffs. The manager offered tips for planning and arranging cool desert safari and inexpensive night camps. Traditional rajasthani breakfast was served every morning. This place is worth the stay.

I had a great four day stay at Hotel Kalyan Bhawan in Jaisalmer. In general, the hotel is good and situated at a location close to the market, some good restaurants and at walking distance from the fort. My big non-AC room, at the first floor, was clean, with a very comfortable bed and a big bathroom. Furthermore, the hotel manager is very hospitable and willing to help with some good tips and tricks, do's and dont's in and around Jaisalmer. He offered some advice on the cameltrip offered and arranged a hospital visit for me beacuse I fell sick during my stay in Jaisalmer. The use of the swimming pool at Mandir Palace is a nice extra. Conclusion: I had a very comfortable stay at Kalyan Bhawan!

Room tip: Have a good look at some of the available rooms before picking your room; because there are some really good, big and comfortable rooms; don't pick the first AC room. Have a look around and pick the best!
