Stayed here on our tenth anniversary trip across rajasthan. I fall short of words to express how great our stay here was. The hotel is located inside the fort which in itself is a great experience and it has the best view of the city below. Add to it the amazing hospitality by the staff, they make you feel so welcomed and like family. The saying "atithi devo bhava" is what the staff of this hotel believes in. Special mention to Mr Nikhil who treated us like his own family and made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. He was always ready to help with a smile.
The breakfast was absolutely lip smacking authentic rajasthani food!!! Rooms are comfortable and done up in heritage style and one does get a feeling of royalty when staying here.

The hotel also arranged a desert camp stay for us with Mr Padam who turned out to be an amazing human being! We would recommend you to ask for him specially if you are keen on the desert camp!

Jaisalmer is called the golden city... After our stay here , would like to conclude by saying , jaisalmer is the golden city and its people truly have hearts of gold!!!

Thank you to all the staff of killa bhawan for making our stay here so memorable and making us believe in humanity again!!! Would like to thank Mr Sunil again for his amazing hospitality!!! Keep up the great work!!! We will be revisiting you for sure!

Dear Sir
Thanks so much for your kind and very complete review of all the beautiful aspects of Killa Bhawan.
The most important being the kindness and smiles of the family working with me there.
Unfortunately I could not be present (thanks to Covid !!) but I hope to see you on your next visit, Delhi is not so far...
thanks again, cheers

A place where Heritage meets Luxury !!
We had a remarkable stay in Killa Bhawan during our time here in Jaisalmer. The property is probably the best in the fort, with a mesmerizing view of the city and the palace. We stayed in the suite room and we found it the right choice we made. We were picked up from the airport and were coordinated well in advance.

The hotel is well managed by Mr. Bhanu, Manish & Manu Maharaj. We enjoyed best in-class hospitality and the breakfast was awesome too. They also helped us with arrangements for sightseeing and recommending places to eat. We found that the prices were reasonable. All the services and communication had a personal touch. The room and entire property is great.

Couple of points to note:
1. Cars are not allowed inside the fort, so your luggage will be transferred separately (the transfer was flawless and completely managed by the hotel).

2. As the hotel is inside the fort, it does not have an elevator. But that will not be a problem.

3. The hotel does not have television and intercom facility, which we didn't miss at all.

Furthermore, I want to emphasize very kind and professional staff who helped us a lot. It is very safe and right in the center of everything within the fort. City Palace is just 2mins walk. I would recommend Killa Bhawan to everyone.

Hotel Killa Bhawan is a magical place set into the walls of the fort. Incredible views with lots of balconies, lovely rooms, the staff is extraordinary. They guided us throughout our visit on where to visit, where to eat. We felt like family. It’s incredible.

i stayed at this hotel 6-9 March and i can highly recommend it. The decor was amazing the room was decorated in a very authentic way and breakfast on the terrace was special. The staff were very kind as there was a mix up at the arrival at the airport caused by poor internet at a previous hotel in Udiapur but all was sorted out and it was safe and really delightful. The staff took very good care of me and i would really recommend this hotel if u are wanting to stay in the fort and u are travelling alone. It is extremely special and i thoroughly enjoyed my stay

If you want to have the authentic Jaisalmer experience, then this is where you want to stay. It's the most magical little hotel situated inside the fort. Every room is unique and fascinating. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff make you feel like you're at home and could not be friendlier. I came here after a recommendation from a family member, and I'm happy I did!
