This is one of the greatest hotels to stay in Jaisalmer. We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel run by Avi. He is a friendly and kind guy who will make your stay the most happy and comfortable in all India. Jaisalmer is too hot, but rooms are fresh and clean, so it´s a relaxing place to stay and rest after visiting the hectic city.

You should also ask Avi to plan a trip to the desert, where you can sleep under the stars and enjoy riding a camel. A camel boy will kindly show you the small villages in the desert, will show you the sunset and will cook for you a tasty dinner.

Definately, I would love to come back to Jaisalmer and to Jeet Villa, where i had best time of my life :)

This is actually my second review for this hotel as somehow the manager got my first review removed.
We came here to stay and was given a poor rate and so knowing I had seen it cheaper online said we would eat at the restaurant so I could use their free wifi and would book online.
The wifi didnt work and as we were about to leave the manager said to eat there, then we could use the internet downstairs for free. He was obviously keen to get our business.
We ate and then when it came to using the internet the manager asked for 50 rupees which is ridiculous anyway. I told him he said we could use it for free and he laughed in our face. He said "welcome to India"
It was a blatant lie and despite the fact I told him I wanted to book a room online he said "we dont care for your business"
We left, I cannot believe such a human being is in charge of a hotel.

Jeet mahal

Myself and and my husband booked here by email, Avi replied straight away and confirmed that he would pick us from the train station. The building is converted from
their family home and is run by Avi and his brother Bhupesh. Your room had beautiful orginal wall carvings, was clean, comfortable and had A.C. The shower was also
powerful and hot.

Avi organised our camel safari, which was amazing. We went out via jeep to join the camels, once in the desert we did not see another person, just sand, sun set and stars.

The roof to restaurant has an incredible view of the fort, good priced food and free Wifi.

Avi and his brother were always kind and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone they also have a villa opening soon which looks like it will be something special.

Hotel Jeetmahal has 6 lovely rooms, and is in a great location just outside the Fort gates, and is very close to markets and main attractions in Jaisalmer. The hotel is an old heritage building which was built in the first decade of the eighteenth century by Jeetmal Bissa, who served as an architect at the Royal Palace of Jaisalmer. He surprisingly constructed this fabulous Haveli in his spare time, when he was not required to attend the Royal Palace. The haveli has jharokhas of exquisite carvings and this heritage haveli still has a wonderful atmosphere of old Jaisalmer.
