“Good mix of Indian and European food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2012

A popular restaurant serving a good mix of foods to cater for all tourists. The food was good and the staff were friendly. It did take a reasonably long time for us to get a table as the restaurant was busy but over all it was an enjoyable experience.

“Great meal and great view of the fort”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 April 2012

We had lunch here after visiting the fort. A little confusing as our guide book said the restaurant was called Gallons - but it turned out to be Gallops! We were there in April and it was too hot to eat outside so we sat inside, extremely grateful for the air con!

They had a good mix of European food and Indian. We ate off the Indian menu but I did spy the pizza going to the next door table and it looked delicious!

We had a delicious meal of local food looking out over the fort. Although it's on the main road it's a peaceful location as it is not in the main town and it's a very short stroll from the fort. The staff also had great English, which was not our experience at some other places. Definitely worth seeking out.

“good food but...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2012

Food is really good & not overpriced....The waiters are friendly but a little wary about the color of skin .... we, being Indians were actually made aware about the price of beer (it was not on the menu or drinks list) that was 275 bucks ...They assumed that we would be scornful of the fact that a 70 rupees beer wold cost 275 there....But when several white-skinned people sat at the next table & ordered beer they were not said anything about the price.....& they were first timers there as well....
