I stayed with my wife over New Year's eve for 2 days!! Very nicely done decor. Warm Staff and it made the stay pleasurable. The hotel location is absolutely bang on!! Right in the heart of city on JM road!! On the flip side Non-Veg food unavailability! But absolutely recommended!! Lovely complimentary breakfast!! :)

Room Tip: Corner side rooms give good view of Sambhaji Park!

This is our third visit here and with each visit this place gets better... The rooms hav had a complete makeover since our last visit.. At this price u can get nothing better in Pune.. Of course im writing this review from this room with my 3times stay experiance..
One suggestion: An wash basin is needed at the complimentary breakfast area.. I understand it may be affecting the aesthetics of the area but i feel in Sapna importance is more at functionality..

Dear Sir, Thank you for your kind words. It surely makes us all feel better. Unfortunately due to some rules around and local muncipal regulations we were not allowed to do so. We will solve that problem soon hopefully. Hope to see you the fifth time now

I stayed at this place for two days and found it comfortable. We stayed in a spacious and clean room. The bathroom was clean too. The staff was courteous though sometimes found them a bit lazy. Good facilities!

This place ticks most of the boxes on the requirement of a general business traveler. Attentive staff at reception, Clean rooms and sheets, Good Food from Shiv Sagar across the road as room service, friendly and polite room attendants. They provide good assistance for your local travel needs, free Wi-fi is also thrown in.
They also give break-fast on the house for all guests with reasonably good spread. Tariff for all the above is fairly reasonable

Cons: Parking space is limited, entry and exit to hotel is hidden from plain sight, Breakfast served inside the building

I Would come back and recommend

Room Tip: Choose the road facing Room no 100, its big and awesome

LOCATION - Excellent. The cab to the hotel cost around Rs 400. People know the place, at least the Sambaji park on JM road. The location is excellent. Plenty of eateries around, good opportunities to walk in the evenings doing window shopping and seeing the road side shops on the nearby Fergusson College road.
RECEPTION - The entrance to the hotel is a bit pinched, but doesn’t matter much. The initial formalities went without a hitch.
ROOM SIZE - We had chosen a super deluxe room which was reasonably spacious. Around ten feet across and twenty feet long.
VIEW - Excellent. There was a tall and wide window with sliding glass shutters almost occupying a full wall which let very good amount of light and made the room look airy and cheerful. We could look at the Sambaji park next door.
TV CABLE - Just ok. Though there were 100 channels, only a few were really watchable, what with hindi dubbed English programmes and such.
MATTRESSES, PILLOWS - Ok. Mattresses were neither soft nor very supportive, but that said, I didn’t wake up with back pain either. Very thin pillows – totally unsupportive. Had to ask for two more. Even then, I had to fold the pillows to get any sort of support.
LOCKER was provided
TOWELS, BEDSHEETS, TOILETRIES - Very good. Regularly changed. Quite clean linen.
BEVERAGES - Good. Electric kettle is provided with one pack for tea/coffee per day; if you need more you have to buy a pack
BATHROOM - Quite Good. Spacious, airy, well lit, good fixtures, (except closet cover, which got skewed and would keep falling down – very disturbing, I say – wouldn’t let one concentrate on the job at hand), running hot water was in fact hot enough.
ROOM SERVICE - They get food from a restaurant opposite and deliver, no extra charges apparently. Vegetarian food. Good quality and quantity.
PARKING - Available, though I didn’t use it and hence can’t comment.
RESTAURANT - Currently there is a Mayur thali restaurant downstairs which serves lipsmacking good food and excellent service. Though I don’t think it is part of the Hotel Sapna.
INTERNET - Wifi – free. Good speed and connectivity

BREAKFAST- Buffet from 0730 to 0930 hrs. Tea/coffee; Onjus; kellogs, milk; bread and butter; Idli, sambhar, chutney; an item for people on upvas (fasting); masala dosa or aloo parantha. Good quality food.
MEDICAL SHOP - The chaps at the reception either didn’t know or didn’t give proper directions to medical shop nearby. For those of you in need, there is a pharmacy at Prayag’s Critical Care Centre around 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel, or regular medical shops near the junction near the Reliance Mall around 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
STAFF - Quite helpful. Courteous. One Mr. Sagar was especially helpful.
NEGATIVES - Nothing really. Except for the ill fitting cover of the closet as I mentioned earlier; And the chaps sitting at the reception desk could be more professional.

Room Tip: AC not needed during winter; I'd say the North facing rooms are better for the view they give of the Sambaji Park.
